A celebration of the culture, arts, and traditions of the region’s Traditional Owners, the headlining acts this year will be the live entertainment from Indigenous bands Justin Wellington, Up 2 You and CKNU, and Indigenous solo singer Mau Power. With free entry for the whole two days, you'll be glad you went!

Although there’s no single event branded as “Gidarjil National NAIDOC,” Gidarjil plays a pivotal role in regional NAIDOC celebrations. In 2024, they collaborated in organizing a NAIDOC Family Pop‑up Play Day in Bundaberg. This event included dance workshops (led by Bunda Bar'aggi Dancers), arts and crafts, language, music, and culture activities—all under the NAIDOC Week theme “Keep The Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud”
