Who Is Gidarjil Development Corporation?
Gidarjil Development Corporation is an Indigenous-owned organization based in Bundaberg, Queensland. Founded in 2000 by representatives of the Gurang and Gooreng Gooreng peoples, its primary mission is to drive economic, social, and cultural development for Indigenous Australians.
Who We Are
Gidarjil is dedicated to supporting and empowering Traditional Owners through various initiatives. We specialize in assisting Training and Employment for PCCC , undertaking water quality assessment and reporting to deliver outcomes in natural resource management, as well as conducting in-situ water testing and taking samples for Laboratory testing. Our team is committed to making a positive impact on the community and the environment.

Vision & Core Objectives
Economic Empowerment: Gidarjil aims to help Indigenous communities achieve economic independence and participate meaningfully in Australia’s broader economy.
Cultural Stewardship: Delivering programs for language revitalization, arts development, cultural heritage, and environmental care—central pillars of preserving First Nations identities.
Training and Employment: Creating pathways for Indigenous people through job training and employment opportunities.
