Environmental Stewardship
Protecting riparian rainforests, targeting weeds like cat’s claw creeper and lantana.
Weed and feral animal control, including pig trapping in areas like Granite Creek and Curtis Island.
Conserving endangered species such as the Bulburin nut in partnership with the Macadamia Conservation Trust and QPWS.
Marine conservation efforts, including turtle monitoring at Mon Repos, coral reef patrols and monitoring with QPWS.
Community events, such as National Tree Planting Day, Gidarjil Festival, and language workshops.
