Land Rangers: Work around Granite Creek (Gurang Country), combining traditional knowledge and science—revegetation efforts, pest control, water quality testing, biodiversity surveying, and ecosystem restoration.

Sea Rangers: Operate across coastal and marine areas of the Port Curtis Coral Coast, helping monitor and protect marine species and habitats. Activities include turtle and dugong monitoring, mangrove and seagrass surveys, coral reef monitoring, and wildlife rescue training in collaboration with Queensland environmental agencies components.

Inshore Coral Reef Monitoring

This ongoing project (since 2019) involves working across 18 coral sites in the southern Great Barrier Reef—monitoring reef health and water quality. Rangers collaborate with researchers from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Great Barrier Reef Foundation, and government agencies, moving beyond cultural obligations to scientific data collection and capacity building.
